Last month I partnered with Megan to photograph natural lit headshot images that she could use for her acting career. She wanted to have a soft look to them so decided to use natural light instead of studio lights.
The shoot went by so fast compared to normal studio sessions. No lights, modifiers, and stands to setup made the photoshoot feel so simple! Natural light produces a different look than my normal studio vibe but overall I like it!

Hawaii Actor Headshot Photographer Mike Vidales - Chance
This past week I partnered with Chance to photograph natural lit headshot images. Chance is a stage actor who needed updated headshot images of himself.
I like the way these turned out, they have a very different look to them compared to my studio work. I processed them in both in color and black and white to compare the two. Natural light has such a softer feel to it and the results are quite nice.

I was approached by Anna to photograph her headshot image that she could use for her new job resume and Linkedin profile. Since she works with the government, she was required to capture her headshot on a clean and simple white backdrop. She also requested two images, one that was more serious and one that was a little more playful and welcoming. Here are the images from the session.
